Overview

HZD8250 is a thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) elastomer designed for extrusion processing, compliant with RoHS, REACH and halogen-free environmental requirements. Typical uses are wire and cable outer jacketing and door and window sealing profiles.

Process notes

Processing recommendations

  1. 01Pre-dry at 80°C for 1–2 h before extrusion
  2. 02Barrel temperatures: rear 170–190°C / middle 180–200°C / front 190–210°C; die 190–210°C; never exceed 240°C
  3. 03Purge the machine thoroughly with PE or PP before and after runs; do not let material dwell hot in the barrel — prolonged heat degrades TPV
