Overview
HZD2720-L is a 125°C halogen-free flame-retardant cable compound, colorable, built on a polyolefin base with inorganic flame retardants, antioxidants and lubricants, internally mixed, plasticized and pelletized. It serves electronic and electrical equipment wire, communication wire, building wire and instrumentation cable.
The grade extrudes on ordinary PVC equipment with a smooth, round wire surface. Its mechanical performance meets the UL 758 and UL 1581 requirements for 125°C XLPE, and the designed flame-retardant class is FT2.
Packaging & Storage
Supplied in aluminum-plastic bags with kraft paper lining, 25 kg net per bag. Store in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse.

Processing Recommendations
- —Recommended equipment: φ45–150 single-screw extruder, L/D ≥ 20, screen pack 20/80/20 mesh
- —A dedicated halogen-free screw with compression ratio below 2.5 improves output and surface quality
- —Temperature profile: feed 110°C / transport 125°C / melting 140°C / die 140–150°C — trim die temperature to wire surface finish
- —Irradiation dose: 100–140 kGy (10–14 Mrad)
