Overview
HZD2720-EV is a 125°C halogen-free flame-retardant cable compound, colorable, built on a polyolefin base with inorganic flame retardants, antioxidants and lubricants, internally mixed, plasticized and pelletized. It offers outstanding oil resistance and flexibility together with good mechanical strength and elongation, and passes the single-wire vertical flame test.
The grade targets applications with demanding oil exposure — typically rolling-stock and vehicle cable — and satisfies the requirements of GB 12528.11-2003. Oil immersion performance is verified in 20# machine oil (100°C × 70 h) and 0# diesel (70°C × 168 h); see the property table. Packaging & Storage
Supplied in aluminum-plastic bags with kraft paper lining, 25 kg net per bag. Store in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse.

Processing Recommendations
- —Recommended equipment: φ45–150 single-screw extruder, L/D ≥ 20, screen pack 20/80/20 mesh
- —A dedicated halogen-free screw with compression ratio below 2.5 improves output and surface quality
- —Temperature profile: feed 110°C / transport 125°C / melting 140°C / die 140–150°C — trim die temperature to wire surface finish
- —Irradiation dose: 150–180 kGy (15–18 Mrad)
