Function
Filling yarn and rope occupy the interstices between insulated cores during laying-up so the assembled cable is round and dimensionally stable before sheathing. Good filler is light, non-hygroscopic and consistent in diameter, letting the sheathing line run at full speed without lumps or diameter variation.
Supply Options
Standard polypropylene yarn and rope in a range of deniers and diameters; flame-retardant and low-smoke halogen-free grades are available to match LSZH cable designs so the filler does not undermine the cable’s fire performance.
